My Pastor finished up his series called "Miracles" this past Sunday. Let me tell you something, it was a great series. So many awesome things happened.
One thing that happened to me was my feet were healed. I have been fighting pain in my feet for months. My friends kept telling me to go to the doctor...but I knew I needed a specialist, and without health insurance, that's impossible. The first Sunday of this series, Josh called for anyone who needed a healing in their body to come forward. So I went. A sweet lady at my church named Joy prayed for me. My feet get sore if I'm on them too long, but they are healed. It's so nice to walk without pain.
Josh said some awesome nuggets of truth and gave this recipe for miracles, I think it's totally worth sharing and I pray it helps you.
"God is great because nothing is too big for Him, but nothing is too small either."
"Bring your daily worries and concerns to God. He does little miracles too."
Recipe for miracles:
  1. Have a problem. People want miracles without the problems, but normally there is a problem involved. Problems are opportunities for God to reveal His glory and show up in miraculous ways.
  2. Take that problem to Jesus. Prayer is what that is.. it's not about knowing what to say, it's about knowing where to turn. Our first reaction isn't to take it to Jesus, we try to handle it ourselves.
  3. Do what Jesus says. If you don't do the natural, God won't do the super natural.  Sometimes obeying Jesus isn't easy, but when you do, He's able to do miracles. You have to hear what He's saying. Listen for that gentle whisper.
"God won't answer the prayers you don't pray." Josh Copron
We need to keep praying and believing that God will do what He says He will do. He is still in the miracle business. There are people who think God doesn't heal or do miracles anymore. That makes me sad, because it means that they don't have the faith in God that I have.
Hebrews 13:8 says, "Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever." Jesus hasn't changed. If He did miracles in Bible times, why wouldn't He do them now?
What miracles do you need in your life? Pray about them. Tell God what you need. And by all means, get other folks praying with you. I'm always available for prayer.. just get in touch with me.
God bless you today and always.
