O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all of your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. Psalm 40:5
We interrupt your Launch Out talk posts for this one about God's plans. I ran across this Scripture this morning and just had to share it.
I know I quote Jeremiah 29:11 a lot, about God having a plan for our lives, so this one totally jumped out at me this morning.
God's plans for us are too numerous to list!
Did you read that?
He has done so much in our lives that we can't even tell someone every single little thing. As a matter of fact, He's probably done some things that we didn't even realize it was Him!
Can I give you a little hope today?
Trust in God's plans. If you are anything like me... (Which I hope with this you aren't. LOL) I tend to want to take things into my own hands and do things Jill's way. I have learned over the years that I only hurt myself when I do that.
God's way is better.
God has PLANS. No just A plan...but PLANS for our lives.
So, how do we let Him do His plans in our lives?
By fully surrendering our lives to Him. We can't keep picking up the pieces we want to. Fully giving God everything is just that.. fully giving Him everything.
We need to forgive people who have hurt us as well. Holding onto unforgiveness blocks God's plans. I don't know about you, but I don't want to block God's plans for me. I want to let Him have full access and reign in my heart and life.
When someone else hurts us, it's our human nature to hate them or be angry. I understand that full well. But letting that darkness take over your heart only hurts you. That person doesn't know or might not even care how angry you are at them.
LET. IT. GO.
Give it to God. Let Him deal with that person and what they've done. He promises to avenge us. He will, in His timing, and in His way.
It's my prayer that whoever needed this today reads it. I sure hope it helped you.. because it was a good reminder for me.
God bless you today and always!
