Life is not easy. We will have trials and troubles. It's just a fact of life.
God wants to help us during those.
My Jesus Calling devotional says this today:
"Let me help you get through this day. There are many possible paths to travel between your getting up in the morning and your lying down at night. Stay alert to the many choice-points along the way, being continually aware of My Presence. You will get through this day one way or the other. One way is to moan and groan, stumbling along with shuffling, but there is a better way. You can choose to walk with Me along the path of Peace, leaning on Me as much as you need. There will still be difficulties along the way, but you can face them confidently in My strength. Thank Me for each problem you encounter, and watch to see how I transform trials into blessings."
Realizing that no matter what, I will have problems, trials, and issues is the first way to face it all.
I tend to get down easily. I let words hurt me. That's because I care and I wear my heart on my sleeve. I know that's a bad way to live, but I don't know any other way.
Taking my problems to God helps. Giving Him my day helps.
Do you struggle with this? Do your problems get huge in your mind and you find yourself drowning underneath it all?
God is your life preserver. He is there to hold your head up during the wind and waves.
The key is, you have to let Him.
Then, He can turn those trials into blessings. He also promises us in Romans 8:28, "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
If you struggle with this... try giving it to Him and letting Him help you.
