Is God REALLY In it?

Last night at church, we continued our study of Acts. Some of the people in that time were attempting to do things that weren't working because they were not doing it in God's power.

Mrs. Laurel said, "You can't do whatever you want to do and put a rubber stamp of God on it. If God isn't in it - it won't work."

I think this concept is so true! I believe we need to be listening for Him and watching for Him. Then do what He has called us to.

I am far from perfect, but I feel like I do the things God has called me to do. Over the years, I've heard things and did not do them. I regret that now. Lesson learned.

In my own power, I have hurt people before. Most of the time not meaning to. We can have good intentions, but only God can see those. The person you are talking to doesn't know your heart for them. Even if you think they do, they might not. Let your conversations be Spirit led as much as possible. That way folks don't get hurt.
Because, see, you can't do stuff and just pretend like He's a part of it. It just doesn't work that way.

I am not a fake person. That's just how I am. I am open and honest on this blog and my facebook page. Fake people, especially one's who say they live for God but He isn't in it are only hurting themselves. And most of the time, they hurt other people too.

Stop hurting people in your own power. If God tells you to say or do something for someone, then do it. Otherwise, don't.

Is God a part of your every day life?

Do you see Him working?

Do you hear from Him?

Tell me about your experiences.... I'd love to hear it.

I think God in the clouds and sky. That's why I like it so much.

  1. I struggle with thinking I'm in control of my own life. Usually results in failure.
