Believing in People

A few months ago, another writer from a group I am in on Facebook believed in my writing and sent me a book about how to get my blog out there in a busy world. I was so appreciative because he believes that my writing is good and wants to help me move forward. He doesn't see me as competition or anything. We are fellow writers together.

Sometimes, all someone needs is a little confidence in themselves. A little pick me up. Your words or something you do for them could be exactly what helps them.

Pay attention over the next few days and see who could use some encouragement that you come in contact with. Say something to help them with their dream or just brighten their day.

My parents know that I have a gift for writing. They have been supportive, but
last night they proved how much they believe in my writing with this gift:

My own laptop, bag, Snoopy and 2 years of everything I need. Unlimited Microsoft word too!

What was even MORE cool was my dad said,
"Now write you a book and get famous."

I wish you could see my smile and how happy that made my heart.

Take a minute today and lift someone's spirits! You don't have to buy them anything... just a smile, a hug, or a kind word could make a difference in someone's day.

You will be glad you did!
