I love Taylor Swift's song Shake It Off!
Mostly because of the lyrics and things I've been through.
"Haters gonna hate, players gonna play, heart breakers gonna break, fakers gonna fake"
Basically, people are going to treat you bad and do whatever they are going to do no matter how good you are to them.

I, personally, treat people the way I want to be treated. Period.
No if's and's or but's about it.
What happens to me?
I am repeatedly lied to and treated wrong.
Why do the good people have to get hurt all of the time?
Lying breaks trust. Lying hurts.
I have been lied to so much it's just ridiculous at this point.
It almost makes me want to give up on people.
However, I know that's not what God has called me to do. I'm supposed to love. I'm supposed to forgive. And honestly, sometimes, I can only do that with His help!
I do not believe we are supposed to be a door mat and allow junk to continue, though.
Who is in your life that continues to hurt you?
Change things now! It doesn't mean you don't care. It just means you are smart enough to protect yourself.
Shake it off! Let them go!
The song "Let It Go" is the one that always comes to mind when I'm wandering down that same path.
