Who are your friends?

I was thinking about how blessed I am to have the friends that I do. Since I am an only child, I have always valued my friendships.

My Pastor's message yesterday was about how our tongue can help or harm. It was a great message, but the one thing it reminded me of are my friends that lift me up. I need encouraging just like everyone else. I try to be a very encouraging person to the people in my life. I love my friends and family very much.

Jason said in order to have good relationships, we need to listen, be loyal, and and love.

My friends do this for me. I hope I am a good friend to them in return.

Who are your friends?

Did you know that Jesus calls us friend?

In John 15: 13-16 Jesus says this, "13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command.15 I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you."

I don't know about you, but I am so thankful to be called friend by Jesus and the people in my life.

God is good all the time and He loves us very much!
