Does God Leave During The Hard Times?

"Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean He no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us." Romans 8:35-37 NLT

I know times are hard. People keep saying we are in the end times. There are wars, shootings, the weather is going crazy, and more. These all do look like the signs listed in the Bible, but I'm not sure.
Either way, I know that storms come. Things happen that cause us to doubt and question whether God is even still near us.
Read the Scripture above.
God still loves you, even when the troubles come. And, let me assure you, the troubles WILL come. Even Jesus told us they would. (John 16:33)
What I want you to see is that God's character, His love, and His will is FOR you. God is not against you.
He is not this cosmic being in the sky waiting for you to mess up so He can cause you more trouble. He does not operate that way.
My old Pastor said, "God can't give you something He doesn't have."
Think about that for a minute. Sure, He's God. He's all knowing, all powerful, and ever present.
But does He have cancer?
Is He sick? NOPE!
So, why are you blaming your sickness on Him?
Because that's the only person you can think of? Because He could have prevented it?
Because you are scared out of your mind and don't know what else to do?
If you are a Christ follower, someone who truly, with every fiber of your being believes that God sent Jesus to die on the cross for your sins, that He was buried, resurrected, and rose on the 3rd day... then let me remind you of something.
NOTHING can take you out of God's hands, and God doesn't cause the bad stuff to happen to us.
Jesus said in John 10:28-30,"I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, 29 for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. No one can snatch them from the Father’s hand. 30 The Father and I are one.”
God is trustworthy. He doesn't lie. He doesn't change. He's the same yesterday, today and forever. So, stop worrying. Ok?
Know that He's got you in the palm of His hand and nothing can take you out but yourself. Don't walk away from the one Person who can help you the most.
RUN TO HIM when the storms come.
Because that cancer... well, He's still in the healing business. So, He can earthly heal you and keep you here for a testimony to others.
I pray that someone will really get this today. I hope you see the truth and that the truth will set you free. God loves you so much and He wants a relationship with you. That's all.
God bless you today and always!
