Nothing Is Wasted

"12 After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, “Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted.” John 6:12

In John Chapter 6, we read the story of Jesus feeding over 5,000 people with five barley loaves and two fish. 

This was one of my Bible writing Scriptures the other day. When I read verse 12, that I posted above, it really hit me.

NOTHING IS WASTED. There is a worship song that says that too from Elevation Worship: Nothing Is Wasted Video

Bad things happen to good people daily. It stinks. But those bad things are not caused by God.

He's a loving Father. Why would He want to hurt us?

What He does is turns things around for our good. Romans 8:28 tells us, " And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them."

Whatever bad you've lived through, realize that fact...  you LIVED through it! Now, let God turn it around for you.

It's not wasted.

I am a part of a ministry that helps women who have been betrayed by their husbands by cheating on them or using pornography. Several times, I have heard them say that they feel like they've wasted all these years. Those years aren't wasted. Nothing is wasted when God is in it.

I mean, look at the miracle of feeding the 5,000 people. God takes a little, multiplies it, and then there are LEFT OVERS!

God loves you so much and He only desires good things for you. 

My question to you is this.. will you LET Him turn it around for you good? Why do I ask that?

Because some people want to stay in their mess. They grow bitter. They want to hurt the people who hurt them. They are angry. I get it, but that's no way to live my friends.

Hurting people hurt people. That's just the truth of the matter. And, for the most part, they hurt the people they are closest to.

That's not an excuse, it's just the facts.

Don't waste what's happened in your life. Let God turn it around. You know those sayings, "Let your test become your testimony" and "Let your mess become a message."?

I say yes! Do that! that's what I have attempted to do.

I pray that you will see that nothing is wasted in your life. God has a plan and purpose for you, and He will work it all out for your good.
