What are you "JUST"?

Jennifer Kaufman spoke after Jon Acuff at Launch Out Conference. I remember her making a comment about having to follow him. Here is her video: Jennifer Kaufman, Launch Out

Honestly,I did not take a lot of notes for some reason during her talk. I actually only have two. I need to go back and watch it. They are uploaded on You Tube, thankfully!

She is a wife and mom, as well as a podcast host. She has a website that you might be interested in. In this episode she talks about Launch Out. The Delightful Life Website & Podcast

Jennifer actually quoted Jon Acuff... she said this, "You don't have to make it big, you just have to make it matter."

What I wrote down that she said is, "You can make a difference! Don't "JUST". You are more than "JUST".

If you remember in my first blog post about Launch Out, I mentioned getting on to Jerrod Murr "justed" himself. When I met him Thursday night at the picnic he said, "I'm just the host." Then, during his talk, he said, "I'm just a talking head, you guys are don't the awesome stuff."

That is so far from true. Jerrod has a really neat, unique voice. Something I don't have.

I know all too well about "Justing" because I used to say it about myself.

I'm "just" a stay at home mom.

When you "just" who you are or what you do, you are discounting your worth.

That's not cool because GOD made you who and what you are.

I know without a doubt that God called me to be a stay at home mom when I was. It felt right. My children were never in day care and well taken care of. When I felt led to homeschool, that was for their good as well. My oldest son did not even tell me for a few years that he was being bullied.

When we are using our gifts, talents, and skills for God. HE is the one who gets the credit. And we should never "just" that.

Your life has value. What you do has value. God loves you JUST the way you are!
