How To Ruin Someone's Life in 1 Easy Step

I believe everyone deserves a chance.

They need to know that they are here for a purpose.

When we allow someone's past to define them, we are doing them an injustice.

Jesus is a great example of how we should be.

He hung out, ate with and talked to people that no one else would.

As Christians in 2015, we tend to sit quietly in our little bubble and do nothing.

That's not radically living for Jesus.

When Jesus met Peter, through Peter's brother Andrew, He said, this:

John 1: 41 - 42 "The first thing Andrew did was to find his brother Simon and tell him, “We have found the Messiah” (that is, the Christ). 42 And he brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which, when translated, is Peter).

Jesus saw Peter for who he currently was, but realized the potential in him.

Jesus did not put Peter down for who he currently was. He stated it, then as a word of promise said who he would become.

The best way to ruin someone's life is to speak curses over them. Tell them how horrible they are, call them names, and tell them they have no future.

That is NOT what God would want us to do.

Speak life over people. Remind them of the potential they have. See their gifts and talents and help them use those God given abilities to honor and glorify Him.

Encourage someone today.
