The sun is always hot!

I live in Southwest Georgia. We usually have two seasons, Hot and Hotter. It does get a little cold in the winter, but not until January or so, and then, it's too hot for snow. I've had Christmas' where I wore a t-shirt it was so warm!

I was thinking about the sun this morning. It's ALWAYS hot. Even when there is snow on the ground somewhere, the sun is hot. It has to stay hot in order to do what it was created to do.

Then, of course, my thoughts turned to God and how He is ALWAYS here for us. He is a constant in our lives that never leaves. We can pull away from Him. We can turn our backs and change our ways, but He doesn't leave us.

Scripture says, "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever." in Hebrews 13:8.

Malachi 3:6, "I the Lord do not change. So you, the descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed." (In this context, God was telling the people to turn back to Him, because their ancestors turned away from Him.)

If you are having a hard time right now, and feeling down or alone. Please know that you aren't alone. You have a Heavenly Father who loves you and promises to never leave or forsake you. He is always there, just like the sun will always be hot!
