The Kingdom of God

Last month, my Pastor taught on the Upside Down Kingdom of God. He spoke about how people think the Kingdom should be one way, when in reality, it's not that way at all. For example, back in the day, the Jewish people thought a powerful ruler would rise up and help them overtake the Roman Empire and get them out from under their oppression. Jesus was born poor in a animal manger. Not quite the King they were expecting. Jesus also taught people to serve makes you greater in the Kingdom, that to be served. Boy, that's a little mixed up, don't you think?

Well, I'm almost finished reading this book called "The Veil" by Blake K Healy.

In this book, Blake describes how he can see the spiritual things all around us every day that aren't visible with the naked human eye. God's Kingdom right here on earth!
It is very interesting! And I believe what he says.

Here is a paragraph from the book:

"God always had a way of expressing a lifetime of love in a few simple words. It was less about what He said than how He said it, and less about how He said it than the feeling that burned in my heart when He did. Everything I saw, every single thing, was a completely fresh glance at the same all consuming love."

Our biggest quest in life should be to figure out where we fit into God's Kingdom and remind ourselves DAILY of how much God loves us.

Do you realize just how much He loves you? If not, get out a Bible or go online to a Bible and read about His great love for you. You won't regret it.
