Live for Today!

We only get one chance at life. One of my son's favorite bands is called "Beartooth". They have a lyric in a song that says, "One life, one decision, make sure it ends with you still living." This can be about living for the day as well as a plea to keep people from killing themselves.  I think we should live for today and let the past go. As a matter of fact, don't even plan too far in the future either. It's too easy to get caught up in what "MIGHT" happen. We honestly have no idea what the future holds. So, it's best to take one day at a time.

Thankfully, if you are a Christian, you know that God has a plan for your life. (Jeremiah 29:11) He does not reveal said plan to us all at once. I sure wish He would sometimes. It's hard trusting Him and taking life on a daily basis. Some days are bad. We can get down and think, "Wow, if tomorrow is like this, I don't want deal with it." I think God does not reveal His plan to us all at once because if He did would couldn't handle it.

I mean think about it... if I would have known I was going to miscarry twins at 15 weeks, would I have WANTED to endure that? HECK NO!

We should take advantage of each individual day and live like it's our last. We should treat people kindly, love the people God has in our lives, do our jobs to the best of our ability, and do whatever we feel led to do each day. 

The future might be really good, but we won't know until we get there.
